Pain
My mind today is on the thoughts of pain in the human
body, whether it be a physical bodily pain or an emotional pain of the heart and
mind. Both are just as real as the
other.

There are different manners of pain that humanity
deals with in which there is an antidote (being the Word of God), if we yield to
the power of its authenticity, which is every word spoken from the mouth of
God.

Denoting emotional pain there are various
sorts

Fear: The
scriptures can help us overcome fear and a troubled heart. One antidote is John 14:27 >>> “Let not your heart be troubled, neither let
it be afraid.” (Or) 2nd
Timothy 1:7 “God hath not given us the
spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound
mind”.
Trust:
Challenge yourself with trusting in the Lord. Antidote:
Proverbs 3:5-6 >>>
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own
understanding. In all thy ways
acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”.

Depression:
Throughout our lives we will encounter times of depression,
discouragement and frustration. These
are times of sorrow, however, God can turn these times around. “Weeping may endure for a night, but joy
cometh in the morning.” Psalm
30:5

In the book of Romans 8:28 (which is one of my
favorite scriptures), the Bible says
“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love
God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.”

 My final
analogy is this: Although we may endure pain for a season, we must accept
that God will heal us according to his purpose.
Pray about all things, believe for all things and God shall bring it to
pass.
