I have always been encouraged by the passage of
2 Chronicles 20:15...
"Listen, all you of Judah and
you
inhabitants of Jerusalem,
and you, King Jehoshaphat!
Thus says the Lord to you:
"Do not be afraid nor dismayed
because of this great multitude,
for the
battle is not yours,
but God's."
The people of Judah faced a huge battle before
them and they knew there was no possible way they could win this battle on
their own. They were instructed that they will not need to fight in this battle
but to position themselves, to stand still and see the salvation of the Lord,
who was with them.
Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed
before the Lord and worshiped Him with all their hearts. As they worshiped
the Lord, He saw to it that their enemies were wiped out.
Whatever battle you may be facing today, be
assured the Lord is with you! Position yourselves, stand still and see the
salvation of the Lord and know the Lord will bring you sweet victory as He
fights that battle for you!
In His Sweet Victory,

Here is a song about how the battle belongs to God.
It is good that we have God who fights in the battles that are not ours but His. Praise Him and cheer Him on as he fights. Praise the Lord!
