The very best way to be able to face the storms of life is to have some anchor, some mooring that will not pull loose when battered and buffeted by all that life throws at it.
That sure anchor is found only
in Jesus Christ. All who believe in Him not only have security for this
life but for the next also. We have already crossed over from death to
life. How can that be?
The surety of our salvation in
Jesus means that the last breath in this life is the first breath in the next
life. Salvation has been procured for us through the death, burial, and
resurrection of our Lord. Now He rules at the Father's right hand,
waiting to finally come back to rule and reign over all.
So no matter what happens in
this life, fix your focus not on the storm but on the One who has conquered all
for our sakes. Worship God for the wonder and mystery of our salvation.

Grab God's anchor and trust it that you will not sink helplessly in the storm.

Beautifully said. I will hold onto the phrase, "...the wonder and mystery of our salvation." There is no earthly reason for me to have a place in heaven, and yet...Christ has one prepared for me. For all of us who call Him Lord and Saviour!
