"Rest In The Lord"


As a woman I know we find it hard to set aside our life and just rest. We have so many voices screaming at us for our time as a mother, wife, employee, daughter, sister, neighbor, servant in our church and the list goes on! But the Lord Almighty tells us to rest in Him. Sink your teeth into these scriptures. "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. "Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. "For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." Matthew 11:28-30
Jesus tells us to come to Him when we are weary and worn out and overwhelmed. We have all been there at some time in our life. As we come to Him and rest in His arms, He will refresh us and and lift the heaviness. He will bless us with His peace and much needed rest will come to our souls.

Rest in the Lord and watch what our Amazing Lord will do in your life!

    I will be doing a lot of resting and hope to connect with God more over the next 6 weeks!
