"The God Of Abundance"

I woke up this morning with the scripture Ephesians 3:20, so felt compelled to do the devotion on this particular passage. It reads; "Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly, abundantly, above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us." I don't know about you, but when I read this scriputure it gets me pretty excited about our Mighty God! It says that He is able to do above what we could possibly ask or think, according to the power that works in us. He is all powerful and can accomplish great things through His people. He can do things beyond our expectations more than we could ever dream possible. Why? Because He is God and with God there is no limit what He can do! We have yet to realize the greatness of our God.

One of the reference scriptures was out of 1 Corinthians 2:9 which says; "Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man, the things which God has prepared for those who love Him." We as His people have not even begun to experience what God is about to do and what He has prepared for those who love Him. It is beyond our understanding or what we could ever fathom. Another reference scripture is out of John 10:10, which says "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." Jesus has come that we may have abundant life. In my Bible word wealth dictionary, for abundantly, it means; superabundance, excessive, overflowing, surplus, over and above, more than enough, profuse, extraordinary. My God desires to fill us to overflowing and over and above with more of Him and all of His blessings.

I choose to not limit my God, but believe His word wholeheartedly! As I experience His abundance, I in turn can pour it out to those people that God puts before me. They too can then experience His overflow according to the power that works in each of us!

Blessings and Love,
