“Hope”...Thursday

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, 
the evidence of things not seen.
Hebrews 11:1 



The definition of hope is to trust in, wait for, look for, or desire something or someone, or to expect something beneficial in the future.

Hope anchors us to what God has shown us in His Word or in the Spirit, it anchors things to us.  Keep hope in front of you.  Keep your vision in front of you.  Keep focused on what God has put in your heart.  Do not ever look back to the what if’s keep moving forward.  




Psalm 78:41 says...

Do not consider where you have come from 
keep looking at what you have and what is to come.  
Hope is what makes you patiently wait. 
See the faithfulness of our God it gives you hope for your future.

    Hope in the Bible is so much more than the current hope = desire for something to happen, not knowing whether it will or not - it is trusting that it WILL happen because of God's promises! I have the sure hope and confidence in my salvation through Christ! Amen! Thanks for your devotional.
