So Jesus
answered and said to them,
"Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you,
whoever says to
this mountain,
'Be removed and be cast
into the sea,'
and does not doubt in his heart, but believes
that those things
he says
will be done, he will have whatever he says.
Mark 11:22-23
There are
times in our life when we can allow the so called mountains in our life to
speak to us, they can literally dictate how we react or how we feel. They speak to you telling you, you do not
have enough to pay your bills this month or even enough to meet your basic
needs; this sickness/disease is going to kill you or maybe what you have been
given to do seems to big for you. The
more we focus on the things of this life the bigger they seem to become.
We
need to stop talking about our mountains. We need to stop focusing on them.
There is NO mountain bigger than our God. We need to start talking to our
mountain about our God. We need to
remind our mountain how big He is. If
there is lack going on in your life, remind it that your God shall supply all
your needs according to HIS riches in glory by Christ Jesus. (Phil 4:19)
Speak to your mountain about Duet. 28:1-13. Tell the sickness in your body by His stripes
I am healed. (1 Peter 2:24). This
scripture tells the mountain that I was healed this is past tense. Yes, your body maybe screaming out to you, but
the truth of the matter is your body is
already healed. It just has to line up with the word of God.
When those projects in life that fill your head
with doubt and overwhelm you, remind them that you can do all things through
Christ who strengthens you. (Phil 4:13).
Maybe it is wisdom you need, and our God gives that to us as well to handle
any situation. We need to remember that, in every mountain that
presents itself to us, there is an answer for it in the Word of God. It is time we start telling our mountain
about our God instead of allowing the mountain to talk to us.

I loved this lesson Kathryn. Your words made me think. I was aware of it, but the way you taught it really spoke to my heart. Loved it.

ReplyDeleteAmen, sister, amen! the prophet Habakkuk reminds us: Though every sustenance on earth is taken from us, "Yet I will exult in the Lord, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The Lord is my strength, and He has made my feet like hinds feet, and makes me to WALK ON MY HIGH PLACES. Habakkuk 3:18-19
