Only Jesus can completely fulfill our life. In
the past I have tried many any other things to try to make me happy. Those
things were only temporary compared to Jesus. It is Jesus
that can meet your deepest needs and desires.
Jesus tells us...
"If anyone
thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.
He who believes in Me, as the
Scripture has said,
out of his heart will flow rivers of living water."
John 7:37-38...
We can come to Jesus and drink of all that He
is, and be fully satisfied, lacking nothing in Him. He tells us also when we
believe in Him, out of our hearts flow His rivers of living water. Our
hearts overflow with His light and life and presence. His abundance
flows in us because He lives in us. There is that never ending stream of His
Holy Spirit as we abide Him and drink deep of Jesus.
My heart rejoices when I think of all that Jesus
has provided for His children. He wants us to live a life in Him of great
satifaction and fullness. He truly is all that we could ever dream of and ever
need!

Living water - what a great visual God provides us! The name of our church is "Fountain of Life" and we have a beautiful fountain in the courtyard of the church grounds - I've always loved that picture of Christ in my mind.
