The Lord has impressed
on me more and more each day of the importance of caring for our
sisters and brothers in Christ. When we know that someone in the Body of
Christ is in need or hurting, we can be that extension to reach out and love as
Christ would have us do. On the other hand when great successes and
accomplishments and celebrations are happening we can rejoice with the Body of
Christ as well.
God's Word clearly
states...
"let there be no schism in the body,
but
that the members should have the same care for one another.
And if one member
suffers, all the members suffer with it,
or if one member is honored, all
the members rejoice with it."
1 Corinthians 12:25-26
We are to live out each day ready to care with great compassion. We are to be the hands and feet of Jesus to the world.... yes, but also to our brothers and sisters. Not only will they be blessed and ministered to but we will experience great joy and blessings in abundance knowing with a heart of caring you will never be disappointed!
