"For a man's ways
are in full view of the Lord,
and he examines all his paths."
Prov.
5:21
When
all else fails read the directions. We've all not only heard this but
most of us have done this at one time or another. Another problem with
directions, is that sometimes, especially when traveling, we are very reluctant
to ask for them when we are lost. We seem to think we'll figure it out
ourselves -- even if we wander for a while.
In
the life of a Christian we need to be aware of the necessity of seeking God's
direction rather than our own. God sees things differently than we do and
frequently has other plans and paths for us to follow. We need to ask and
listen before we head out on our own to either get lost or have to back track
to take another direction in the end anyway.
We'll
save time, energy, and be doing the will of God if we seek His direction first
and always.
