Part 1 of 3"God's
Grace Towards Us"
Grace builds us up and gives us an inheritance.
Acts 20:32
AMP
And now [brethren], I commit you to God [I
deposit you in His charge, entrusting you to His protection and care]. And I
commend you to the Word of His grace [to the commands and counsels and promises
of His unmerited favor]. It is able to build you up and to give you [your
rightful] inheritance among all God’s set-apart ones (those consecrated,
purified, and transformed of soul).
Grace justifies us.
Romans 3:24 AMP
[All] are justified and made upright and
in right standing with God, freely and gratuitously by His grace (His
unmerited favor and mercy), through the redemption which is [provided] in
Christ Jesus,
Grace gives us gifts.
Romans 12:6-8
AMP
Having gifts (faculties, talents, qualities) that
differ according to the grace given us, let us use them: [He whose gift is]
prophecy, [let him prophesy] according to the proportion of his faith;
[He whose gift is] practical service, let him give
himself to serving; he who teaches, to his teaching;
He who exhorts (encourages), to his exhortation;
he who contributes, let him do it in simplicity and liberality; he who
gives aid and superintends, with zeal and singleness of mind; he
who does acts of mercy, with genuine cheerfulness and joyful eagerness.
Grace gives us consolation and hope.
2Thes 2:16
AMP
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ Himself and God our
Father, Who loved us and gave us everlasting consolation and
encouragement and well-founded hope through [His] grace (unmerited favor),
Grace of God is full of faith and love.
1Tim 1:14
AMP
And the grace (unmerited favor and blessing) of
our Lord [actually] flowed out superabundantly and beyond measure for
me, accompanied by faith and love that are [to be realized] in Christ Jesus.
Grace provides help in the time of need.
Hebrews
4:16 AMP
Let us then fearlessly and confidently and
boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to
us sinners), that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find grace to
help in good time for every need [appropriate help and well-timed help, coming
just when we need it].
Study these scriptures. They define many of the roles that the Holy Spirit enaccts in our life to help us follow the path that God has put us on.
