SHELTERING WINGS


Devotional for Sunday 4/14/13 

There may be times in our lives when we feel like a tiny speck of dust in the universe, buffeted about by the slightest breeze.  We may feel weak and overwhelmed by circumstances beyond our control, at the mercy of some greater power than ourselves.  But that is a good thing!  When we acknowledge that we cannot "go it alone" and that we only have control over our own responses to life's situations, then we can accept God's presence in our lives as our guide and protector. Knowing that God is ever faithful and will never leave or forsake us brings us great comfort.
