God's word is not just a book, but profoundly powerful and alive! His word is literally God breathed. As we read His word it can deliver us when we are bound, heal us in multiple ways, and bring us peace that only He can give. God's word has the power to bring us life in hopeless situations and give us joy when we are downtrodden.
It is difficult to totally comprehend that God's word is completely alive and active. When we hide God's word in our hearts it continually ministers to our spirit man. God's word changes the way we think.

I have only touched the tip of the iceberg in what His word can do. As we speak God's word He will do exactly what He says He will do because He tells us His word does not return void.
We serve an exciting, exhilarating. transforming, amazing God!
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword,
piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow,
