"Words satisfy the mind as much as fruit does the stomach;
good talk is as gratifying as a good harvest.
Words kill, words give life;
they're either posion or fruit - you choose."
Proverbs 18:20-21

I choose LIFE!!!
What have you been meditating on? What thoughts are you entertaining? Thoughts bring life to words. My words bring my world.
A though is a seed that is planted into our minds our imaginations. If we meditate or entertain these seeds these thoughts whether good or bad they will bring a harvest of life or death through our words.
A good person produces good things from the treasury of a good heart,
and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart.
What you say flows from what is in your heart.
Luke 6:45
NLT
We must not entertain thoughts of death and destruction. For every negative thought that comes into our minds our Precious Jesus gave us a scripture to combat it. If your body is speaking sickness and pain the Word of God says by His stripes you ARE healed. Start speaking the truth to your body. If you tell your body daily that it is sick and racked in pain it will continue in that direction but if you speak the Word which is life to your body it has no other option but to line up with God's Word.

Meditate on the Word which is truth...not on what the facts say. God's Word trumphs over every evil work of the enemy. Our talk speaks volumes on what we have been meditating on.
Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Matthew 6:10

OUR WORDS BRING OUR WORLD.
What world are you bringing?

This is the second day in a row that one of the devotional writers have written about the power of words. There is a saying..."What you think about your bring about." I believe that our words also cause things to happen in our lives and the lives of others. So please think about what you say so that hope can come to the listeners!

Oh, the power in our thoughts and words! It is amazing how many people around us will think and speak the worst about a situation, other people and even themselves all day long, and then wonder why they are miserable.
ReplyDelete"May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O LORD, my rock and my redeemer." Psalm 19:14 (all day long!!)
